Because No Child is Worthless

Stephanie C. Márquez-Villafañe is proud to support and push for change throughout the Child Welfare community. This is a very serious issue that has been impacting families worldwide. It is also an issue that holds a special place in Stephanie's heart.

Foster children and those involved in the child welfare system are some of the most vulnerable children in our society. Many of these children find themselves without the proper supports and resources to learn, grow and live as normal a child's life as possible. With the number of foster youth who find themselves stuck in the system until aging out, Stephanie has been working closely with the National Foster Care Youth and Alumni Policy Council as a council member to help champion the necessary change. 

It is up to people like Stephanie C. Márquez-Villafañe to address this issue head on, and rally the support needed to make the proper change.
